I'll agree... It is time rewarding but that's what I love about our guild. We're a family and friend oriented guild. We do what we can as far as raids, instances, PVP, etc. but we're in it to spend time with friends. There is a lot of give and take with the people we have and we select people to join us based on their personality not so much what they'll do for us. I've seen arguements on both sides of WoW/MMORPGs that they are serious time sinks that don't reward skill to social training environements where kids don't know they are being trained... I'd guess its a matter of both, especially in the case of our Guild. Honestly PVP is where Blizzard has everything all screwed up... at least in their Battlegrounds... dunno about PVP servers. You can't join a BG in our battle group with a fleeting chance of success most days. Our Battlegroup is Alliance heavy so it's premades all day every day. As far as other MMORPGs the onlyother one I had interest in was FFXI... and only cause I'm an FF fan. I didn't know anyone who played and I did know some who played WoW so i went thataway. EQ held no allure for me. I beta tested EQ2 and that was far more than enough... talk about your time sink. NWN holds some significant interest for me in particular the PWs... I'm a Dungeon/Game Master at heart so... the ability to build my own world/advetures/etc... appeals to me. GD
