Thanks.
I was expecting a reaction along the lines of "this detail would look much better with a tweak of that kind".
Some kind of kick in the ass upwards you know

Criticism is a lot more valuable when detailed and aimed at improvement.

To tell the (short) story, it started like this :

Today, and one hour later, I was done with fine tuning the PS version in black/white shapes.
...
Some spice to the thingie : can you come up with a song, and a "line" (text) for it?

Artistic criticism doesn't make sense to me. It looks good to me, but that doesn't matter - if it looks how you wanted it, you've success.

Technically it looks pretty good, but maybe a little aliased. I probably would trace it manually in Inkscape.

I dig it. The only thing I don't understand is the little hook or "tooth" looking thing that is behind the star.

Right off the bat, let me say: I don't get it.

That said, it looks good as far as the quality of the artwork, and I like it stylistically.
I would like to see the lines of the rabbit refined a bit - annunciated, articulated...some kind of word like that

I would also like to see the line from the top go a bit further into the circle, perhaps with a slightly more dramatic curve. It's a bit unbalanced at the moment.

I also agree with reisio that the edges on this render are too soft - getting them crisper would go a long way.

I prefer the sketch. The things I don't like in the logo are the difference of thickness of some strokes and the black lines starting out of nowhere. IMHO the logo might look better in "inverse", meaning the upper part plain, with a "swoosh" at the bottom right to shape the ear of the bunny.

Thanks for the tips.
I like it, but I will use the advice, improvement, improvement, improvement never hurts, especially when keeping versions along the way.

For the time being, let me answer my own riddle and your questions at once and if you haven't done so already,
go to www.jeffersonairplane.com and check their radio (listen button).

I'd usually hate splash screens. Then again, I'd usually hate 3MBs splash pictures, too

...

But this is all unusual.

I like it, it would be nice if I knew what it was for though. That's half the battle.

I know this is the PS thread, but this should be done in Illustrator, or at 300dpi in PS. You can always take it over and trace it. Make friends with the pen tool and smooth out some of the lines, like the bunny's forehead, and the ear/foot line. Cool though!
