It's been inspired by an experimental implementation and draft specification from Opera 9.5. Luckilly the spec have evolved a LOT and we're waiting for it to stabilize before implemeting anything beyond the basic features we drafted. And that's pretty much it for JavaScript. Anything else, is either not endoresed by a standard body or using proprietary technology like Flash.
