So...can anyone recommend a good free disk partitioning app for windows? |

I've only used Partition Magic for windows DL, but I'm sure the one I used for Ubuntu works for windows too and it's free. It's calledd...toddles off to check QTParted I'm not 100% though I'm sure now that Ubuntu can read/write to NTFS that is should work well. |

Have a look at the contents of http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ It contains quite a list of different partitioning tools and other setup, diagnostics, maintainance and repair tools. |

gparted. Can download it and burn to a bootable cd. |

AH ha! gparted, thanks C:\ now I remember (do we have any memory pills in the house?). I have used this with no memorable difficulties, state of recall being what it is |

Someone needs to make a partitioning program called "dparted"... |
