I'm in a bit of a bind here.

I'm trying to find something nice and simple that I can run in the background of my Windows boxes that will allow me to count all traffic going out over a given set of interfaces via a certain route (if possible). I'm curerntly trying to prove to someone that I'm not the one consuming all of our monthly data allowance for our internet connection. So, I want to have this running on my desktop and my laptop, counting all the traffic flowing over the interfaces destined for the 'net (so, going out via the default gateway route of 192.168.1.1). Has anyone seen anything like this before? I just want it to be something simple that I can configure and place in my startup sequence so it'll load with Windows and record its little heart out.

Well, there is Process Explorer, and it can do a save of the I/O of users.

However, I do not know if it can record an entire days worth of data.

never used it ... i think i used an older version with a different name ... if that doesn't work for you then try searching for "bandwidth monitor" or "download monitor" on google and you'll find a bunch of tools ...
