I just been checking my various players local and on-line so I thought I'd post up what have been my ^^ most listened recently. I was going to go for the old..."Top Ten of All Time" but I thought Nah! that's played out let's try something different.

All of these are special to me for one reason or another in my past. I do play more contemporary music, honest but they don't get played often enough to include in my Top Seven Chart.
Why seven? Because it's me compiling the list and them's the rules.

(1) Nick Drake - Hazey Jane

(2) Miles Davis - All Blues

(3) John Martyn - Solid Air

(4) War - Low Rider

(5) John Mayall - California

(6) Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower

(7) Jim Morrison - A Feast of Friends

The surprise for me here is that it is the first time in ages that Miles has not been on the top of my playlist. I do find it interesting looking at which tracks I tend to play most at certain times of the year.
Most of these link lead to an auto play page on Last FM but there is one where you have to actually click the play button, sorry about that, Also there are two that go to auto play in Utube.

So what have you been booging to recently?

Nice set list their Tao!

For me, tonight, it was a Whole lotta Clapton, a little bit of Jet (Cold Hearted Bitch) and some STP

The Clapton tunes ran the gamut from Cream, Derek and the Dominos, Clapton with Tracy Chapman, Sheryl Crow, and BB King...and some cool jams with Jeff Beck, Hendrix, Santana...and the some mellow stuff with Liverpoolian George Harrison (Something, While my Guitar)

Yeah I've not listened to ol' slow hand much recently, have to remedy that. I've also been searching for my old vinyl and I have lost then all. I had a great beck album called, I think "Cos we ended as lovers". At least that was one of the great tracks on the album. I think our George is a much underrated guitarist too.

Actually you're right into the guitar aren't you? Do you play? I used to but had to sell my Yamaha acoustic when I was on hard times and homeless. The worst sale I ever made. Never ever even think of selling your guitar unless you have another better one to use in it's place, and even then, don't sell it.

Very much so..yes I did play both acoustic and electric, could have been one of the greats if I had had any talent, but I didn't, so I stopped.

Sorry for your hard times bro.

I've been hooked on Gabriella Cilmi's 'Sweet About Me'. I am not so keen on her other debut tracks (esp. her version of Echo Beach), but that particular song just has a certain sound to it that I can't get out of my head. It has become my latest ear-worm.

I broke out some Joshua Redman the other day. Awesome stuff. You're into Jazz Tao so check him out. Moodswing and Freedom in the Groove are great.

I've been listening to the new NIN lately. It's pretty groovy.

So you guys play guitar? Awesome! I play as well. Not as much anymore that I am married and I have tons of stuff to do. But I did get a degree in Classical Guitar. I still have my first good electric guitar and of course my classical. My classical you will have to pry out of my cold dead hands before I would sell it

Later,
