The last two are of a duck that was nesting right in the middle of a small crafts/shopping 'village', surrounded by people and seemingly unfazed. I guessed that the little feathered one was hiding something and waited for it to shuffle around a bit to catch a glimpse of the eggs. It seems that the same duck has returned to the same odd nesting place for two years running. Even while I was watching, some kid wandered past, put out an incautious hand, and got a nasty nip for his trouble. I laughed, of course! :) Oh yeah - I'd be happy to share a wallpaper-sized version of any of them to anyone who thinks them worthy of such - just let me know.
