I've been using ccleaner for a very long time... have it configured in
Recycle Bin so it simply a matter of right click run ccleaner.

yep, good stuff

There is also Revo Uninstaller which is nice for uninstalling programs.

It doesn't take as long to fire up as the "Add Remove Programs" that Windows has and it also has a "Scan" option after the install to remove any registry keys and / or folders left behind after install which is much needed most of the time.

actually, that's the only feature i wouldn't try....don't trust any registry cleaner...unless you use to simply scan and then do the deletions very carefully.

Hahaha - that's precisely my thought on the subject of registry cleaners too. I've long held the opinion that registry cleaners (esp. when executed in automatic mode) are the cause of many a misery. CCleaner has a lot more to it than that, though.
