Crunch time at work is almost over and I think/hope I'll have some time to try and get something ready for this month! [b]poi[/b]: It's a bummer that I can't do stretching without interpolation :( I'll have to render the zoomed in letters rectangle-by-rectangle. Note that I'm doing sub-pixel rendering, and not plain old AA. Thus, the pixels used to render a single letter are not always the same. At every 1/3 pixel, the composition and colors of the pixels change: [img]http://magnetiq.com/exports/spst_ss.png[/img] [small]100%[/small] [img]http://magnetiq.com/exports/spst_ss_3x.png[/img] [small]300% zoom[/small] That's the reason I have three different variations of the text in the small (currently visible) buffer I'm using -- each is for a different 1/3 pixel "phase". For the same reason, I can't render the letters once at their largest and just shrink them to the appropriate size -- I would need 3 different huge variations for each letter.
