Fill background with something like R181 G141 B113. (lite brown) or whatever colour you like. Drag your photo of choice onto a new layer. Set layer to Luminosity. Voila. I did say Sepia like Quick and Dirty. =) Tinker accordingly.... add noise... a few scratches.
