I've always thought that if more people saw fish in their natural state, a lot less people would eat fish

if we all saw the things we do eat in their actual form and living conditions i bet we would vow to stay hungry for the rest of our lives but than human nature would take over and you would even it everything raw.

This doesn't really affect creationism one way or the other but I always find it funny how common it is to view eating fish as disgusting.

Is eating a side of beef any less disgusting?

I think that the view on eating beef is "oh, that is just mean!" due to those emotional eyes of the cows.

Whereas in the case of fish it is a "eeewwwww, yucky!" sort of reaction, being that they are slimey and all.

Probably due to a phenomena well documented - it is easier to emotionalize with a cow (mammal, four limbs, eyes, face, etc) than it is with Fish (fins, glassy eyes, no real face, etc)
