Quebec rocks show their age: 4.3 billion years

The famous Dinosaur Caveman war, which resulted in mass the extinction of the dinosaurs, was about 3000 years ago.

How can these rocks be billions of years old when the earth is only about 6000 years old?

That's a pretty awesome find. Some people have salt lamps ... these little pieces of rock can be around 250 million years old. I wonder if they'll start selling the 4.28 billion year old rocks soon. I'd love to own one :P
