I want to write a perl script to mine some data from my e-mails and possibly tell Thunderbird to move messages from one folder to another.

Does anyone know if there is an OLE autoamtion interface to Thunderbird? That is, can I use Thunderbird as an OLE server?

Thanks,

.

No clue,
but you could always shut down thunderbird, and manipulate your mbox files yourself.
(And then perhaps tell TB to refresh its indices)

Thanks TP,
That's the approach I'm looking into now. Although, I don't think I can tell ThunderBird to change the UnRead status or tag status of a given e-mail that way.
