[/quote] I disagree on the bigotry part but that's not all that relevant because it's not the alleged bigotry that's the issue but rather the suppression of rights. It's hard for me to hold a straight face when people compare slavery or lynching to insurance claims or inheritance issues but, as I said above, those issues aren't really exclusive to gay rights. I support equal rights for all but I think a lot of what gets brought up under the banner of gay rights is relatively small potatoes. Of course I'm limiting this to the United States. I recognize the topic deals with global views but I don't know all that much about other countries.
