Found this looking around and thought it would be good to have here for any newbie to CSS. I know that I got some use out of it.

That is a really good find. There was an article somewhere that someone took the slashdot site and redid it in CSS. It was kind of like that tut.

Good stuff. bookmarking

Thanks!

Approaches being the sort of comprehensive start-to-finish tut that is painfully needed (to get newbs off one's back), but the imperfections really bother me; I could never link to it. I really don't want to make such a tut myself. :/

There are a few things in that tut that I would have done differently, but I'm no CSS guru.

The top nav, the author used nested div tags, which I think a list would have been more suited. Then later on they used a dt and dl tags for the nav. Not sure what the purpose of that is. I need to go back and read it from start to finish to see if it makes more sense.

I do agree that there needs to be something like this out there.
