They will update the DNS with the new IP for your domain. You will need to maintain the registration and will probably continue to have to pay for the name through nic.at since they are the domain restistrars. The only other way would be to let the domain name expire. You will have to wait for a while after domain to become an abandoned domain and re-register it through the new host. You will probably have to wait up to 90 days after the expiration date and you'll also have to take the chance that someone else will register the domain before you do. I think it would be better to just transfer the domain to the new host and leave the registration with nic. . -- not necessarily stoned... just beautiful.
