UBB Help
Hello :) I am looking to be able to allow users to show or hide any of the columns of a particular table, and to be able to change the order of the columns as well (dynamically, of course, without reload. drag and drop re-rordering preferably). I want to be able to store the user preferences as well (will probably be storing various user preference details in DB already) and display the saved view on load. I am hoping to gradually add a variety of javascript UI enhancements to various parts of the site (particularly with forms and table views), and am wondering if I should be looking at using a library like jQuery perhaps... My knowledge of javascript is extremely limited, so I am looking for as much pre-fab as possible! I would appreciate any input on where/how to start with this, and any tips as far as the bigger picture, being able to progressively add bits of functionality to a site with javascript.
