I don't know as it has any true purpose, because I typically have no intention to post even if something struck me as interesting. There's a few oldies out there I'd like to get in touch with again at some point... but I think to some degree, while the fascination exists to stop in and say hello to each other here or via emails, it's like a high school reunion of sorts. You say your piece, they say theirs... and you go back to whatever you were doing until you get curious enough to find out if they are still there -- and you do it again.
