Haven't participated earnestly since the early days though. This place was really special to me in that it bridged the gap between being a hobbyist and becoming a professional web developer. Back in the 90s the Doc whetted my appetite for the potential of the web. A community like this was really special because the web wasn't very interactive yet and blogs were few and far between. Now we have half a million web development blogs and Google. Granted it's nice to be able to find an answer to anything instantly, and the work we are all doing now is at another level, but I definitely get nostalgic about the simpler times. Here's to those carrying the torch forward, talk to you next year ;) -jiblet Loading...
