I wouldn't pretend to know. :o As far as HW-acc. web APIs, possible candidates could be Google's O3D, Papervision3D, Sandy3D, Alternativa3D, or Away3d (Flash?). Does anyone know which of these is viable and hardware accelerated? From what I gather, most of these are (or have recently become) open source. I didn't even know the field was so varied.
