Obama's speech proposes a number of things I'm uncomfortable with: [] Restoring Executive respect for Rule of Law [] Clarifying blanket statements that the US does not torture people [] Encouraging people not to be led by fear [] Telling people to be strong instead of telling them to be scared [] Telling people that terrorists probably will attack somewhere no matter what we do [] Encouraging the Executive Branch to seek oversight for security programs What's he trying to do? What's happening to my country?! Kidding aside, I find myself strangely excited by this new behavior. P.S. Please excuse the thread title, it's a Bill Maher joke Loading...
