However, 2 is only twice as big when compared against 1. Relative. 2:4 is also a ratio. The 4 is twice as big as 2. However, 4 is only twice as big when compared against 2. Again, relative. 1:2 = 2:4 The exact numbers are not the same, but the ratios are. Same with diameter, radius and circumference. The units of measurement may not be the same, but the ratios are. If you want to have some real fun with ratios and units, grab some grid paper, a compass, draw circles of various sizes, and start counting. Loading...
