As it stands, our food and energy requirements are ridiculous, we produce unimaginable amounts of waste and pollution, all the while a great many starve or die of preventable diseases... and yet we have barely begun to imagine the first steps to changing our ways. We live a parasitic existence, either ignorant or uncaring in our immense capacity for consumption and waste.
