Hey folks, I recently wrote a small script for my website that automagically inserts soft hyphens into the body of the page, so that the justified text reads much more smoothly. This works perfectly in (at least) Safari and Firefox. The code also seems to run fine in Opera, but I get a weird case where on many lines of text, the first word on the line disappears, leaving just a space where it should be. A good example page to check (in both FF and Opera) would be this one: http://lonelypinkelephants.com/the-last-question.html You should see a significant number of lines ending with a -, representing words broken onto the next line. Is there any reason for this error, and anything I can do to correct it?
