Topic: iPod Plugin? (Page 1 of 1)

I have an idea for a plug-in (specifically, an easy way to create and display synchronized per-line, per-word, per-syllable, per-anything lyrics), but I have absolutely no idea how to make it. Ideally, it'd be for iTunes and/or the iPod Classic (6th gen), though I'd just settle for anything I can get.

Few problems, though:

• I only know HTML, CSS, JS, and bits of PHP.
• I don't know C, C++, or Java.
• Manual memory management baffles me, as does advanced math.
• I don't know what I need to know to make an iTunes or iPod plug-in.
• I don't know if it's possible to make an iPod plug-in, though I may have a hacky workaround in mind for that if necessary: coding it as a game. Course, I don't know what I need to know to make an iPod Classic game, either.
• I don't know where to learn the things I'll need to know, and I'm fairly certain that even if I knew what I needed to know, I would still not know where to learn it.

that's one tall order.
You'll need to learn objective c and all that's related, including manual memory managment (which really isn't that difficult).

Sorry, I don't have more pointers right now.
