It's got a learning curve to it, but it's very flexible. I especially like what they've done with 6 as far as usability. The only real downsides I've come across are disorganized documentation, which can be frustrating to a beginner, and the fact that any new core release is virtually useless for at least 6 months while all the good extensions play catch-up. Still, there's very little that can't be done with it once you understand the structure.
