I have a project coming up that I am going to need to use a CMS. Which do you all prefer as far as CMS? Joomla or Drupal? If one more than the other can you tell me some pros and cons of them? |

I've tried Joomla and its mother (Mambo) and wasn't impressed by either. Drupal seems to have a much smaller community but it's basically the same stuff. |

I've been using Drupal for all my projects the last couple of years. It's got a learning curve to it, but it's very flexible. I especially like what they've done with 6 as far as usability. The only real downsides I've come across are disorganized documentation, which can be frustrating to a beginner, and the fact that any new core release is virtually useless for at least 6 months while all the good extensions play catch-up. |

Wes, I've heard the same thing from a couple of other people about Drupal. I think that I am going to go with that. Time to install it on my test server and learn how to build a theme. |

thanks for the advice reisio :-\ What would be your suggestion? I don't have the time to roll my own nor do I probably have the ability. ;-) |
