Some of you might have seen Spongy, the 128b DOS intro raymarching a Menger Sponge. Well, once I picked my jaw from the floor I wondered how big/small such effect could be in JavaScript. My gut feeling was saying 512 bytes but aiming for a very small footprint dictated to go brute force and I wasn't sure how to get a decent framerate for something actually working in base 3 ( in a Menger Sponge you divide the current cube in 3x3x3 and recurse ). |

I mean it's a fractal ... but atm looks like it only follows one big tunnel ... the camera could fly into a smaller 'hole' every once in a while |
