Topic: Hebrew character display - how?

Is there a sure-fire way to force Hebrew letters
to display correctly.

In development I'm doing, some of the screen
needs to ensure such proper display.
But I get inconsistent results.

Foe example, when I open a pop-up window
in js, even though I write out the charset attribute
utf-8 in the meta tag - the letters still appear
incorrectly.

Sound like a double encoding issue. Are you sure you're not encoding the strings one time too many or one time too few ?

Do you have any piece of code or test page to share ?

Popups suck (fake them) & meta tags are useless. Other than properly sending the encoding via the server, you really shouldn't have to do much else; though if you want to provide a font of a certain quality, nowadays you can do that, too.
