I know HTML, CSS, alot of JavaScript (but it's hard), Jquery (easy) and i've sussed PHP. It would be easy for me to learn PHP and MySQL basics in a few days ... so that's all good. My first question, actually, before i reallys start is ... Is it as simple as uploading via FTP a .php page to my hosts server in order for the blog page to run? or is there some gimmicky thing that i need to iron out with the hosts server? I read somewhere, and i'm so not sure in what context, that there are certain things you can do that can get you booted off your hosts server (i don't want that!). Do i need to ask my hosts what coding languages they allow on their server? Also, this will be a commercial blog that supports my business that i run on my own website: which is already up n running. I just want a simple blog page to be able to add entries of interesting info, and possibly customer feedback, etc; in order to network and keep business doing well. I 'm telling you lots of information so that you can decide the best way for me to go about this, and your help so far is greatly appreciated! Loading...
