Europe will get to see the beginning of it, southeast Asia might catch the end of it. Those of us in the states though should have a good show, barring any nasty weather, which there's quite a bit of right now. Fortunately for me, south Texas looks nice and clear (and not that cold). http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/LEplot/LEplot2001/LE2010Dec21T.pdf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/December_2010_lunar_eclipse And it's on the winter solstice no less :) With just over an hour duration of total eclipse, I'm hoping I can figure out how to get a picture through my scope before it's over. -- Any sufficiently advanced bug is indistinguishable from a feature.
