UBB Help
I would say the biggest thing they all suffer from is a lack of focus. What I would recommend, for starters: 1) Typeface. Get something a little more interesting. Doesn't have to be something with a lot of flair or anything, but something with a little more style... 2) Visual Hierarchy. To many things at the same basic level of visual importance. Get that name much bolder. Get the title smaller. Think colors or shades...don't have everything the same level of black. 3) Composition. Everything is just kind of dropped on the page. Move it around. Use placement on the page for emphasis. Don't be afraid of the edges. Don't be afraid to have images off the edge... 4) Color. The middle one right now looks the best, but it still needs punch. bolder deeper colors perhaps. subtle gradients work well. 5) and yeah, as the others have said...a business card has two sides. wouldn't want to waste one. QR codes are a good thing... 6) oh, and be careful about whatever kind of copyright/trademark issues there might be with using an image of legos on your business card. I am not sure where it falls, but they may take exception....worth looking into FWIW. *love* what you've done with legos....
