A friend is having a hard time of it lately, personal turmoil etc. Understandably he is bit depressed. I check on him regularly to see how he's making out. With name omitted here's our most recent exchange. It starts with me.

Uhuh but I seriously hope you're not  talking about offing yourself.  Perhaps feel like that but there's still a lot to see.

Oh, I see -- you said -- Just checking your orbit -- no glasses on -- I saw Obit -- not Orbit.

Too funny.

A classic!

I found it funny.

Just me, I guess.

Slightly OT although I too saw the potential humour ...

What version is in your mind for that song NJ? I know which I prefer

I quite like what Nora Jones does with it...but I prefer Jo Stafford. At the top of the heap however I think when you take a Hoagy Carmicheal tune put George Shearing at the piano add Nancy Wilson.... well there's just some big kinda cosmic crunch that shouts WINNER!! -_Q well for me anyway. =)

Edit/Well that was quite the adventure down the rabbit hole. Don't know why I hadn't before now searched the tube for Hoagy Carmicheal...but wow. And that lead me to Dorothy Dandridge. Had almost forgotten about her but then it all came back. Great voice great looks but again going through the Hoagy stuff was just fantastic. Thanks for the nudge Tao. =) \Edit

Nancy Wilson sings it so well. My first love with this song was hearing Ella sing it with Satch.
Now I'm off down the Hoagy rabbit hole too.
My heart's now in a dither.
I've not heart Jo Stafford...yet
But lying here in a dark room listening to versions on my mobile and posting here if I had to make a choice I'd go for Ella with Louis I'm in a Raymond Chandler stroke New Orleans state of mind.
Great musical trip you've launched me on NoJive thanks
