Hello folks
Gosh! I haven't started a "New Post" in such a long time, there'll be some edits I'm sure. Time's flying past at a dizzying speed isn't it?
I have recently become the owner of a VW T25 campervan, recently being four months. A week after getting it I went on a test trip to see how it behaved and my reactions to it, I'm all about comfort nowadays, no more cold soggy camping for me brother, no thanks. I ended up travelling around the south of England for three weeks as I enjoyed it so much, one highlight being waking up in The New Forest with wild ponies grazing just outside my window and the sound of a cuckoo, first for me this year, cuckooing in the nearby forest. So, after getting some bits and pieces of work done to it I'm all set to go on my next adventure. In about a weeks time I'll be going over to Ireland. I'll be getting the ferry from Anglesey to Dublin and following my nose and my heart all around this beautiful country.

I like to let an adventure take it's own shape deciding on the go where to stay next, with just a few locations to hook the wandering onto. I have been perusing ancestry websites and traced my great grandmother, Susan McGinity, after whom my mother was named, to a small village in County Louth, so I'm heading there initially to see if I can get any further information on the family. Incidentally I've spent months waiting for a name to attach itself to the camper but nothing came until I mentioned the family name, McGinity, while driving with a friend to the coast. As soon as I said the name the camper gave a little jump (I was changing gear also) and quietly roared into third. I took it as a sign of encouragement and named my campervan McGinity. Yes I now have decals to celebrate.
I'm planning to make a travelogue of the adventure on my site so you can check it out if you wish.
Shine on you crazy diamonds.

Eek!
I didn't resize the images to post here and can't find the "Edit" or "Delete" buttons to rectify the situation.
Sorry for the disturbing massive face

Blimey! What a palaver.
Just so's you know, I've deleted the photos from the first post at source. They were far too large to post here.
I'll prepare Images accordingly, and carefully too.

Lookin' good Tao!!! -_Q. A great adventure awaits I'm sure. My roots also go back to Ireland and area. In fact one of my relatives...one of "The Gunning Girls" (search it) was a Lady in Waiting for Queen Charlotte.

Made contract with a distant cousin a few a decade ago. She lives in Hebden Bridge, which she describes as "a great place, very alternative and arts based, lots of music going on, suits me just fine." I'm sure McGinity is up for the trip.

Be safe!
