Ok, this is a pretty simple 'all in one bowl' cake, it's soft, tastes of cinnamon and chocolate... Maybe someone can add measurments in cups once he converted (and tried!) it. (First time in the us, it turned out horrible... I had misscalculated the relationships. Cups of flour are not the same weight as cups of sugar ;-) ) I, Tyberius loves it! Ingredients: 250g of Flour (the standard wheat kind, white) 250g of sugar (dito. both seems to come in bags of 1 kilo grams) 250g of Butter (or that artificial replacmente stuff, called 'magarine' in germany.) 1 little package of backing powder. Call it two teespoons 4 eggs 1 tsp. of cinnamon 1/8 liter red wine. The cheap stuff. You may substitute milk, but the alcohol evapours during the baking. 100g of 'chocolate flakes' - if you can't get any, I suppose buying a bar of chocolate and grinding it down into 'flakes' would be ok. Mix all ingredients in a bowl for 2-3 minutes, until doughy. (Use a powerd mixer thingy) Put into a well buttered cake tin, bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celcius. Let it cool a bit, take out of cake tin, enjoy!
