On Feb-25 Nasa anounced that the pioneer-10 spacecraft has lost radio contact with earth.
After a duty from 30 years and the longest space travel ever pioneer-10, will not be heard anymore.

Yup. Pretty incredible...but Pioneer is not the furthest reaching man-made object...Voyager is. It's going on 25+ years of service now...and still going. And it's brother, Voyager two, could match, or exceed that...

All in all, great evidence of Nasa's abilities...and Mankind.

What i found amazing is that both the pioneers and the voyagers keep on going long after the original end of mision date. They are probably the first human made crafts who will (if ever) meet other life forms outside our solar system.
That just tickles my imagination
