I created my nation two days ago. I immediately opened my presented issue and clicked on one of the options.

It still hasn't gone through and in two days time I have yet to receive another issue.

I've checked my settings and asked them to give me two issues a day, but still I get nothing.

Is anyone else having this difficulty? Was I supposed to do something after I clicked on the option that I wanted to vote for on my first issue?

Please help.

The Republic of Kellcurt is a tiny, devout nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Religion & Spirituality, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 27%. A substantial private sector is led by the Cheese Exports industry, followed by Gambling and Woodchip Exports.

Rinswind 2th, thank you for the advice.

However, it seems to have worked itself out over the weekend.

The UN (and issues) only work during week days.
At weekends, expect periods of inactivity.

Just like the real thing!

The Empire of The Celestial Dragon is a tiny, pleasant nation, notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The small government juggles the competing demands of Religion & Spirituality, Defence, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6%. A substantial private sector is led by the Basket Weaving industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Information Technology.

Crime is a problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. The Celestial Dragon's national animal is the dragon and its currency is the sovereign.

Welcome to the party, Gumnuts.

If you'd like to give Ozonia a louder voice in the UN, endorse the Principality of Suho...
http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=suho

(Just click on "Add Your Endorsement" under "United Nations Activity"--you need to be a UN member to do this, though)

I would encourage everyone to join the UN and endorse me... unless you're all too busy in space.

The Free Land of Spiritual Awareness
"Spirituality is the key to true freedom."

Location: Ozonia
The Free Land of Spiritual Awareness is a tiny, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its complete lack of prisons. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The enormous, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Religion & Spirituality, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 31%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Woodchip Exports and Beef-Based Agriculture.

Crime is relatively low. Spiritual Awareness's national animal is the phoenix, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the soul.
