Topic awaiting preservation: Oh YESSSS!!! At last !! (Page 1 of 1)

Sorry for yelling my exhuberance from the rooftops, but I feel like you're all family, and I wanted to share my relief and happiness with my family ... so ...

After 6 months of despair and joblessness, and reaching the stage where I really was beginning to fear that bankrupcy was the only solution, I GOT ME A JOB!! .... and not just any job. I don't think I could have found a better job no matter how hard I tried. On April 1st (oops - April Fools Day) I become the in-house webmaster and designer for the subscriber service here. The subscriber site is used for communication between the suppliers of services and technology and ESTEC. It's a lot drieer and more technical than the public facing site, but it is a ground-up redevelopment working with the project scientists on some of the most fascinating space research going on outside NASA .... am I happy ???

Not only am I going to be paid to do what I love doing anyway ... I'm also going to be doing it at Europes equivalent to NASA ...


YAAAAAAAAAA frickin HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

trib, I am very happy for you. No. Really I am! That sounds like a killer job. I don't think I would really classify that as a job though. A job is more like being a salesperson (wait, that's what I do!)

The job market recently has gone from bad to worse in my neck of the woods. My husband has had on again off again jobs for the last 2 years. Any job these days is a good job to have, but sounds like you have found "YOUR" job. Congratulations man, and make the best of it! Best wishes for your great success...
