I imagine such a stratagem in due course would be unpleasant for Microsoft -- Essentially becoming the opposite of the strategy that caused a gradual migration to Internet Explorer from Navigator, chiefly because the Web is becoming more and more standards-based.

I guess their plan is to *reverse* what they did with the internet explorer.
They pushed that with windows... now they'll be pushing the new 'all-secure' via IE...
