At BrainJar they have this neat page that shows your entire DOM Object.

So, I get to thinking.... "Damnit, I wish I had some intimate knowlege of the level of cross-browser discomformity we seem to be at."

*ding* Idea!

I'd like a favor from you all.. listening?

Go to this page and try to get as much as this information as you can (as many '[object]s' as you're comfortable) in as many browsers as you can in as many platforms as you can. Then, email them to me (you'll find my contact info in my profile) with the data you've uncovered. Don't forget to let me know what browser and platform you're using.

I'll make a big'ol list with everyone's DOM data so we'll never have any doubt about whether 'this.object' is supported her or if 'that.object' is supported there..

Get them in guys- Support your local DOM!

Try http://www.xs4all.nl/~ppk for a good read, and in particular http://www.xs4all.nl/~ppk/js/index.html?version5.html .... save yourself a lot of work. This is a MUST for every real web developer's bookmark file.
