Having to talk to a bunch of 16 year old dreamweaver bloggers would send me postal. Now, where's that cream...

If someone is unemlpoyed-good place to network. If someone is looking for a partner in an upcoming project- make connections. If someone is looking for a new job- possibly meet folks who have an open position. Always good to meet new people. And if it sucks- I will sense it in the first 10 minutes, then leave.

It does look like a lot of the people who are listed are not going to be a great resource to start, but a couple of the people seem to have it really together and who knows, ... I might find something interesting going on. -- not necessarily stoned... just beautiful.

I disagree. Meeting new people with similar interests is always good.
