Besides primate programming- this is article the funniest thing this week. Only on the West coast can Aaaaarnold even consider running for public office. East coast would never take him seriously and eat him alive. True, Ronald Reagan and Sonny Bono ran and were successful politicians- but Arnold? C'mon, man. |

Unlike Mr. Reagan. Arnold cannot become president, no matter what his political aspirations. |

Well, Georges W. BUSH made his way in politics. So I have no doubt that Arnold will make a high score. He's famous and have a rather good image what could he need more to be elected ? |

Rowdy Rodey Piper, was it. that was mayor of New York for a while wasn't he? It isn't unheard of public figures becoming political officers. And usually they do a pretty good job. They know that they are under the strictest scrutiny so they try harder. Jesse was a mistake. I think he had some reasonable ideas but when you ahve people in the legislature, on national TV no less, saying, "I don't care how good Governor Ventura's plans are, I won't vote for them because he proposed them." That pissed me off. If you aren't going to do your job (i.e. Work for the people) Get the F*** out of office. So don't be so hard on the famous going for political office because it isn't always the famous person causing the problems once they are there. |
