I've wanted a VAIO since they first came out...um.... a long time ago. It's Sony VAIO PCG-FR130. The Specs are in the link at the bottom. The price was a dream. It was lighter than I would've thought without the battery. It was heavier than I would've thought with the battery. The battery was about as heavy as I expected. shrug go figure.. The screen was bigger than I thought it was going to be, but it's really nice and still fits in my bag. On Monday I plan to cap XP in the head and install RedHat Psyche.... or maybe I'll keep windows (2k) around for Photoshop and games, who knows? I talked to the Tech support guy (instead of comming here? Lynch him!) and he said that I should let the battery charge for about 12 hours (power off) before ever using it and it seems to be going strong- I get about a 4-5 hr charge out of it..... way long enough a game of Mechwarrior while on the John. Damn women... can't live with 'em, can't Ctrl+Alt+Delete 'em... what do you guys mean 'used to have a VAIO'? Did they die a gruesome death? If so, how? Something I hate about this 'top is that, while it comes with 3 USB ports, there are no mouse or keyboard ports! This means that I can't just jack one from the Uni, but that I actually have to go out and BUY one!! Of course this means that I have to go out and buy the best mouse on the planet just for Quake ]

I'm playing war3 on Linux with the same fps and graphic settings as I did on Windows.
