I am not sure about what you mean, since I know nothing about Japanese, but Windows itself has support for these oriental languages. There is some place in the control panel that will allow you to install such support if it's not yet enabled. Then, Arial unicode will do the trick or you may want to find other japanese fonts.

Yeah, that is what I am after.
Well, try to find control panel now.
Thanks a lot.
I may be back later.

In WinXP, you go Control Panel/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Supplemental language support/Install .... (a bunch of stuff).
There are also some extra packs that you can install, I think that using Windows Update, to have these "weird" languages displayed also in menus and all other places around your computer.
By "weird" understand "that I can't understand".
Then, I think you have also to configure your keyboard. Then, when everything is working okay, you'll have to figure out how to type a certain "letter" (anagram, symbol, hieroglyph?).
You may have to use multiple keys to type just one of them. It's a pain!

Hi,mate. Thanks so much. I have just figured out!
BTW, usually I see *En* on the right bottom side of the window. But I don't see it now.
I want to put it back on my desktop.
Do you know how to do it???
Many thanks.

There is just not need to have it back, but if you still want it on your tray, go again to keyboard settings.

Japanese and othger language support come with IE install as well, i think.

Tpying in japanese isn't that bad...you just have to select what alphabet you're using, Hiragana, Katakana or Kanji, and then type in the roomaji combinations that owuld normally form the sound of that character.

yeah, that is right, mate. But Native English speaker might feel pretty hard to type Japanese from pronounciation.
Cuz they pronounce and write things totally different way. Probably Spanish might feel easier to do that. Cuz they use same way to describe sound using written word.

You're not wrong there...I'm a native english speaker, but we had to study japanese as part of the required curriculum right through high-school...and I was crap at it, but I still remember the basic vowels and their pronunciation, and if all the japanese I read is written in roomaji I can pronounce it fine...

Of course...I can't understand a word of what I'm saying...but at least I can say it...
