Okay, I've downloaded the trial version and got it working and I'm pretty happy with the results, however the $200 price tag really hurts. |

Yep...I've used invision board in the past. Like phpBB it can be a bitch to skin. Style elements all have pseudonyms, and I'll be stuffed if I can figure out what half of them are. Strangely you edit the style sheets and apply them globally on the board...and nothing happens. Not a single change is made. Then you go to delete the old ones, and it tells you it can't becuase they're in use, despite the fact that there's only 1 user account, your one, and you're not using it. |

Well, I decided to try the InvisionPB and it's kinda nifty. I'm taking a hit with the SQL queries but I get about 5mil with my hosting plan so we'll see. If the numbers start climbing, I might have to switch to a php/perl only solution. |
