I don't see how he's ridiculing his employer. He's simply acknowledging the presence of Macs on the Micro$oft campus. |

I don't see in what the blog entry and the photo of ~20 G5 being shipped in MS offices is a surprise a "bite" or a mockery. MS does some softwares on MAC, so they DO need some MAC to work on, what is the problem ? Obviously MS managers doesn't share my point of view. However I don't have a copy of the blogger's contract so I can't arguee about the legality of the action taken by MS. |

It's not about this guy criticizing MS or them buying Macs; I'm sure MS has been buying Mac computers for very, very long time. This guy's running around taking pictures of the inside of a private company and then posting them on the internet, which means he actually is a notable security risk. I would have fired him too. Why should a company like MS feel the need to take chances with some temp-picture-poster when there are plenty of other (possibly more trustable) prospective employees out there? |

He wont get any pity from me, I burned a year or three of my life with AOL Time Warner and if I had done the same thing during my tenure there, I would expect the same result. Free speech has consequences. Perhaps Micro$oft has higher standards of conduct for their Full-Time Temp's. |

Actually the guys running aorund taking photos of the outside of a private company. What he's taking photos of is the inside of a truck. He mention that he works in the MS Print Shop, but that was it...he didn't mention which one (there is more than one), he didn't take a photo of the building itself, he didn't take a photo of anything inside the building, any personell, any security measures, nothing. Just a truck. Is microsoft that obsessed with corporate espionage that they can't afford for a photo to be seen of the inside of private shipping company's truck? |

personally I don't see what the big deal is. Just like Skaarjj said: "What he's taking photos of is the inside of a truck." |

It probably was a straight out breach of his contract. Maybe his contract specified no recording devices on the property whatsoever.... and there he is obviously bringing a camera to work. |
