I can't believe this got posted so quickly--I actually wasn't expecting anyone to notice (I guess I can be pretty dense like that sometimes). I'm a bit self-conscious about the translation, to be honest. Of course I'm proud of it, but I'm afraid that I might have failed to achieve what I was aiming for. I just hope people can enjoy it for the fine work of literature that it (the original) is--that's my true goal. Thank you all for your congratulations. I hope you enjoy the story. Oh, yes, and I definitely think this calls for a party in my cell. Not being able to read it in it's original language, I have to say you must have come quite close to an "ideal" translation. The words fit the story quite well - if that makes any sense.
