I thought that this would be an appropriate time to find out what extensions you FireBird and FireFox users are using and would recommend to others.
I used to like the "Tabbrowser ext" but I can't seem to get that to work in FF. The other extensions I am currently using are
- Dictionary Search.
- Digger.
- Flash Click To View
- Image Zoomer.
- Adblock.
The Dictionary search is OK (I still prefer the Big Book) I don't think I have used "Digger" yet, and the "Flash Click To View" is great for 56k users as you can view the page and decide if you want to see the flash components or not.
The other two "Image Zoomer and Adblock" I find helpful also.
I plan to add more, so any suggestions/advice would be very helpful and gratefully received.

Aye, web developer toolbar is great. Other than that I really haven't looked for any extensions, but have been meaning to see what's out there.

Dictionary search, Live HTTP Headers, Web Developer, Flash click to view, Session saver, This window, Copy image, WML Browser, and Link visitor.
Some I installed due to a course I was taking but I'm not probably going to use them in the near future.

I actually haven't used any of the extentions. Something that I have been meaning to look into.
this "web developers bar" sounds intruiging though.

Tabbrowser Extensions

I'll have to check out some of those others... Mozedit seems a little buggy, but External Applications Buttons is convenient.

Web Dev bar, Open link in IE, RSS Reader and a bunch of others.
Although, all of the extension sites seem to be down due to excessive traffic. It appears this browser is starting to generate some heat, maybe the name change won't hurt it that much after all. This version also seems a lot less resource intensive on my PC. At least, I haven't encountered any abnormally high usege of virtual memory like I did with 0.7.

Some of those look good, I have never used mouse gestures before, I may try that one. Also I'm going to install Mycroft as soon as the Moz servers cool down a bit.
It would help if, as well as listing what extensions you have installed, you say what it's for and/or how useful you found it. For instance I have reinstalled "Digger" but can find no reference to use it in the browser. I have noticed that there is an ext' called "Blog This" or "Blogger". Has anyone used this?
The Web Developer toolbar has had a few mentions too, I have not read about that one before, I'll go and check it out.
I think I'll get a core of well used ext's (one's that I have a need for) and then stop. I don't want to be bloating this foxy lil' thing.

So feel free to start a new node there (hell I'll do it now).

It seems to me that right now the extensions page of Firebird-fox is unavailable, probably due to much higher demand than what their servers can manage. It's like a DoS attack made by the users themselves.
I'll keep using Firebird 0.7 until I can get all the extensions I want for Firefox.

I hardly ever use that Google bar. I just do a Ctrl + T for a new tab and then type "g whatever". I usually want to do my searching in another window so that's a lot faster for me. I have several quick searches configured that I use all the time:
g = google
gi = google images
t = thesaurus
d = dictionary
imdb = movie title at the Internet Move Database
I love them quick searches.

Just in case anyone has not checked yet, the Firefox extensions page is back up.
I've just installed Mycroft which is really handy, but hesitated when i checked the "Tabbrowser extensions" website. It does mention there that adding the extension with reduce the performance of Firefox. So I think I can live without it.
I'm also considering trying Thunderbird 0.5 for my emails for a while.
