There is a bit of difference between how different browsers interpret % widths of DIV's.....and it will probably cause a variety of minor problems. For instance, in IE4.0, the 'bodyleft' and 'bodyright' divs overlap by about 2 letter spaces... |

well, that is what I feared. I really did not want to get into the labyrinth of the nested table layout, but at the same time I have to think about the club members and cannot really force them to upgrade, nor do I think I should try to. I was hoping there might be some hack/workaround for this problem. |

My advice would be to make sure everyone can see you content in NS4.x and pos. have a message which prompts them to upgrade. NS4.x renders tables very badly. |

okee dokee. we will see how much feedback I get. the good news is only a few pages will use the multiple column look, the bad news is that one of them is the opening page. |
