Hi Guys,
I am working on an Interface that uses dragable, scrollable javascript windows.
I've seen that DocOz uses these on his page www.ozones.com.
I tried so hard to find a way of doing such windows, can anyone tell me, where I can find a script which does that for me, or any tutorial on doing those windows.
I would be very glad.

Sorry,
I have to specialize since such a topic is already here.
I want a window script that lets me load EXTERNAL content in a window.
Some kind of IFRAME method. I've tried to combine some scripts but I always had problems making the background transparent or with the dragging, coz the DHTML scrollbar never worked when I activated the drag script.

bussman,

Welcome to the Asylum. What you are looking for can be done in IE using a hidden IFrame to act as a buffer. In NN you can use the layerObject.onLoad () method that lallous informed us about here.

As far as the IE IFRAME buffer thing goes I would read this article.

Good luck and let us know when you have used it. I am working on something for a friend that will be using something like this.

First of all:
Many thanks to those who tried to help me. I've now much to work through.
Besides, I've found http://www.twinhelix.com. Here is a Scrollbar script that uses iframes, but I can't get through this positioning code. Whenever I tried to make the iframe smaller or put it in any corner, the whole script sucked.

Dammit this is the kinda thing that makes the loss of dhtmlcentral such a pity

Anyone know how Thomas(sp?) is doing?

You're right. DHTMLCENTRAL was a REALLY good place to look for javascripts. Not only because of they are really useful but also because they are understandable.
